Some Sen-Yru/Hai-Ku

‎1
open bird free skies
a sidewinder laddered dune
and mineret’s call
2
taverned nights close dim
meandering wayward home
the moon on my shoe
3
hummingbird sun
tangled trees sleep silent
a steepled moonlight
4
girl's footprints in sand
skimming stones and flying fish
summer's gentle breeze
5
lost in your eyes
illuminated radiance
a thousand candles
6
somewhere in cities
curled in carnival days
all sirened she sleeps
7
myriads of colour
majestic cathedral light
feathered coral
8
wonders skyward come
slow fall of silent snowflakes
stop the world for play
9
surrendered cacti
packed wolves howling symphony
comets rain to earth
10
parasolitude
autumns scattered arrival
bonfires of joy
11
all these lives lived done
whispered stories through dark trees
cemetary walk
12
distant church bells chime
mandolined sunsets slip
sunday’s curtains drawn
13
zig zag dragonfly
weightless transluscent magic
helicoptered
14
strung between mountains
hooked spiders cabled ascent
a vista of calm
15
white light night diving
disturbing sleepy lobsters
all luminescence
16
kiting on the heath
anglers casting out skyward
aerial  magic
17
cold sharded designs
a winter's frosted window
a brilliant light
18
embracing your world
gliding sharp eyed and thermalled
eagles playful flight
19
beyond the bow wave
strung out as Chinese lanterns
Jellyfish hang dumb-struck
 20
all is quite now
crystallised drifted stillness
a blanket of snow
21
blue mountained vista
shimmering eucalyptus
Australian light
22
naked lobsters move
predator yet victim too
seabed bulldozing
23
browsing dusty books
hand written new love's live on
endearments of joy
23
swirling Northern Lights
heavens joyful symphony
playful spirits dance
24
sashaying twister
prairie Goddess so graceful
locomotive force
25
red silhouetted
monolithic, unearthly
ulhuru at dawn
26
super eight tea chest
attic mystery revealed
ghosts of summers past
27
San Francisco smile
a distant clang of streetcars
Golden Gate mists roll
28
birdsong awoken
brilliant fan scattered rays
night throws down her cloak
29
petite shapely muse
perfection inanimate
a violin sings
30
blustery leaves fall
a beautiful death rains down
 dancing autumnal
31
she dances neon
slowly sets my soul afire
rainbowed magic
32
humble offerings
hungry souls that dwell within
a Thai spirit house
33
communion of birds
fall silent for suns magic
a solar eclipse
34
step carefully now
beautiful peril awaits
vividly Taipan
35
they come take their leave
all kaleidoscopic trance
windmills of our hearts
36
Hurricaned summers
melting Stratacaster nights
weaving down Bourbon
 37
preserved in time
such beauty always remains
exquisite photograph
38
rag taggled parade
wagons roll into focus
here comes the circus
39
cloaked nights fall warm
a gentle harboured lapping
Thai lanterns drift by
40
listen to her growl
stealthy panther dark as night
Vincent Back Shadow

  1. Hai-ku 3 lines, 17 syllables 5-7-5. Sen-Yru not so strict with seasons and more should be more fun. Course, I could be wrong....
