Accidental Comedy spot

I accidentally  arrived at a comedy gig last night, that I thought was just the usual open mic thing. I had to quickly write a set  list of the hopefully more amusing poems and managed  to get  my name down, they put me on last which was a bit daunting but lucky for me, they warmed to my material, phew! I had some great feed back from the comics, thank you. It  was a good gig and I am now considering trying out more comedy  venues? =;-)

Lost Moments

a passing cloud

masks a silvery moon

your face caressed

by an ocean breeze

you take a moment

to smile that way

but i’m all at sea

on nights like these

 I will be doing a 15 min spot in the Budvar Tent, outside Stokey Town Hall, Church Street from around 6:15. Come along, also appearing Stokey's own, The Bikini Beack band. Tim Wells and Porky The Poet AKA Phil Jupitas etc etc =;-) Sunny day with a pint, what's not to like?....=8D-
